Navision offers unparalleled customizability to its users. While many software vendors claim that they allow users to customize their system, they typically hide the source code behind compiled objects and allow only superficial changes to the system.

Every Navision system includes the same development enviroment used by the Navision development team. Using the same tools, users are able to access the source code to modify existing functionality or create entirely new functionality from scratch.
