Navision offers companies a choice of database options.
Companies can store their information in either Microsoft®
SQL Server (MSSQL) or Navision database. Switching databases
is as easy as backing up the data in one database and
restoring it in the other.
The Navision database is ideally suited for companies
with up to 20 concurrent users. The database does not
require any additional software or technical knowledge
to use. Since it has been designed to support the Navision
software system, it is very optimized and extremely fast.
The Navision database is ODBC compliant and easily supports
3rd party applications that want to share the business
data.
For companies with more than 20 concurrent users or extraordinary
database requirements, MSSQL is the ideal choice. MSSQL
has emerged as an industry standard and provides virtually
limitless growth potential for companies. In addition,
MSSQL offers a full suite of advanced database management
tools and fail-safe features.
